Their visits are always a ray of sunshine — full of warm smiles, heartfelt conversations, and joyful connection. Watching our residents light up while sharing laughs (and a few extra sprinkles!) reminds us just how special these moments are.

What a night to remember! Our Casino Night celebration in honor of Father’s Day was an absolute hit. From laughter to lucky streaks, the room was filled with joy, fun, and unforgettable memories.
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible staff who worked behind the scenes to make this event possible—and to the amazing families who came out, participated, and made the evening so special. Enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch at Sevierville Park today! The weather was perfect, the conversation was even better, and we had front-row seats to nature’s show—watching birds flutter and squirrels play in the trees. Grateful for these peaceful, joy-filled moments together

Field Day Fun for National Senior Health & Fitness Day was so much fun!
Today, we had the honor of attending the Alzheimer’s Tennessee Caring Hearts Banquet — a truly inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating compassion, commitment, and care.
We are incredibly proud to share that Celsi Rudder, one of our amazing caregivers at Freedom Senior Living, was recognized for her outstanding dedication and heartfelt service to those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Celsi embodies the spirit of compassionate caregiving every single day, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our Freedom family. Congratulations, Celsi — this recognition is so well deserved!

Our residents have been busy little bunnies, stuffing hundreds of Easter eggs for this week’s big hunt! They’ve had so much fun prepping for the kiddos—and let’s just say, it’s been very hard not to sneak a few pieces of candy for themselves!
They’re counting down the days to watch the little ones dash, dive, and discover all the treats. Honestly, we’re not sure who’s more excited—the kids or our residents!

Bingo, Bidding, and Big Smiles!
What happens when you mix friendly competition, plenty of “Bingo Bucks,” and an exciting auction? A afternoon full of laughter, strategy, and some serious bidding wars! Residents came ready to spend big, going back and forth in lively battles for their favorite prizes. From surprise steals to last-minute bidding showdowns, the energy was high, and the excitement was contagious!
In the end, everyone walked away with something special—whether it was a well-earned prize or just the joy of a fantastic evening with friends. Nothing beats the thrill of a Bingo Auction, where the real jackpot is the fun we share!Can’t wait for the next one!

Today was filled with luck, laughter, and a whole lot of fun! We wrapped up the day with games, giggles, delicious cupcakes, and, most importantly, making wonderful memories with friends. There’s nothing better than celebrating together and sharing joy!

This week, our Freedom Family wore blue to support Brain Awareness Week and to shine a light on the importance of brain research.

Love was in the air as our residents stitched together fleece heart-shaped pillows! 🧵✨ With soft fabric, a little stuffing, and a whole lot of love, they created beautiful pillows perfect for cuddling or gifting.
Crafting together isn’t just about making something—it’s about sharing laughs, stories, and the joy of creating. Seeing our community come together to spread warmth (literally!) made this day extra special.

We can't wait to see Santa come by Freedom at 5:30pm!!
All week the parlor residents transformed everything into Whoville for todays special festivities.All was dressed as who's and enjoyed Christmas merriment with a side of extra cheer. Even Santa attended to ensure the Grinch didn't steal any of the delicious desserts or heart warming gifts.
I snuck a peek in the activity room this afternoon and guess what I saw??Santa's elves seem to be plotting something... but what kind of holiday hijinks are they up to? ... Toy trains? Baby dolls? ...Guess you'll have to wait to see the big crafty creation reveal?!
